After years of perfecting his woodworking expertise, J.R. Smith, a retired soldier who served in the Canadian military, opened Frontline Cabinetry to bring his quality wood products and craftsmanship to the marketplace. As an honour roll graduate of Georgian College in Cabinet Making and the Entrepreneurial Start-Up Program from Memorial University, St. John's, NL, J.R. assembled a team of fellow cabinet makers specialists and it shows in the quality of their workmanship and long list of satisfied clients.
"I am a former Master Corporal with the 1st Battalion of The Royal Canadian Regiment. I represented our Country at home and abroad. After a combat tour in Afghanistan, I took a medical retirement and found a new passion for woodworking. Next to being a soldier, this is the most rewarding work that I have done.
"My vision is to build Frontline Cabinetry into a household name. While doing so, I will hire Veterans transitioning into civilian life from the Canadian forces to give them the opportunity to learn and develop new skills in the Cabinetmaking trade.
Thank you for taking the time to browse my website and my portfolio. I look forward to working with you on your next project!"
